P.s I love you

I recently read a book that really touched me. This story is about how this lady called 'Holly', got through the days with just letters from her late husband. The letters were named from february to december. Telling her what would happen and helping her to decide what to do next. All the letters end with "P.s I love you". This story is very touching. I would encourae my friends to read it. Holly changed from a shy little lady to a brave person.

LOVE THE BOOK!

Euthanasia

Euthanasia refers to the practice of ending a life in a painless manner. Many different forms of euthanasia can be distinguished, including animal euthanasia and human euthanasia, and within the latter, voluntary and involuntary euthanasia. Voluntary euthanasia physician-assisted suicide have been the focus of great controversy in recent years.

Yes I do support the idea of legalising and utilising euthanasia. If euthanasia is legalised, it would do good but however some would use this reason to kill and would deny everything thay had done. but, other then this, there is nothing more that is bad about this. people should also consider about other consequences.

BOOK REVIEW

Totto-Chan book review

After reading the storybook, totto chan shows us children's abilitys and not judge a book by its cover. The story reminds us about the lives we used to have and know how children are living these days. Totto-chan, is a little girl living in Japan. She is very active and she didn't found a school suitable for her until the school that looks like train.

'She' has a very caring parent, which wants to be in her to be in the best. When she went to her new pre- school, the teacher wanted to expel her because of totto-chan's behaviour. Which is all ecause 'she' open and shuts the desk, and that is so she wanted to take things out from her desk and other things that annoys the teacher.

The story help us that to not judge a book by its cover which was wrong as is the person you saw was just a normal guy and to you he dont look like a good guy. I would definitely introduce this book to my friends. This story is sad and funny at times.

Xinjiang's Riots

On July 2009, up to 800 people died in Urumqi due to race riots.

Race riots also known as Racial riots are riots between two different race, reasons may vary. In the late 1960s, in the Race riots the term came to describe riots involving large numbers if members of racial minority groups. The Turkic- speaking people have long complained of repression and discrimination under chinese rule, but Beijing insists it has brought economic prosperity to the region.

The situation in Xinjiang was uncontrollable. People could not imagine what it is like to have dead body lying in the streets.Han chinese and Muslim Uighurs should signed a treaty on certain agreements between them to stop the riots.

If this Race riot happen in Singapore, the government would be in a difficult point as the government could not help.

Should Singlish be the official language in Singapore?

Topic: [Should Singlish be the official language in Singapore? ]

Singlish should not be the official language in Singapore. Just imagine if Singlish is the official language of Singapore, there will be chaos everywhere in Singapore. Singapore is a multi-ethnic country, people speak different languages. But still, Singlish could me communicated through leisure conversations. Malay wouldn't be questioning a chinese through their language, that would be weird. Thereafter, a english teacher would not allow speaking of Singlish in their class as it is disproportionate.
Therefore, Singlish should just be used to be in a normal conversations. Not Official language.

Are Singaporeans gracious and socially responsible?

Comes to Singapore on graciousness and social responsibility, we are not the worse case on Earth.
Social responsibility, in public transport.
Many people are seen taking trains and buses in singapore. Some as you might notice, have been eating food in buses and trains, even though there are signs about not eating or drinking sweet drinks. When the public saw those behaviours, they tend to turn a blind eye and are demonstrating the unlawful manner. Some middle aged ladies, tend to place their shopping bags on the empty seats. Thereafter, our society has turned to a selfish and self-centred one. After much complains, organisations such as SMRT and SBS Transit is trying to promote graciousness in public transport, encouraging the citizens to be gracious.

Are singaporeans gracious and social responsible?
Yes. During the SARS infection period, many people are down with SARS. People who are down th symptoms like cough or flu would quaratine themselves and would be admitted to the hospitals. They are socially responsible as they would not want other peoplpe to contract the disease.
